Yesterday I ventured to my first Tulane sporting event, the Tulane vs. Ole Miss Football game, with my friend, Ellie. It was a fun time, despite the fact that Tulane lost (not much of a surprise there) and I think that there were more people from Ole Miss there than there were from Tulane. 🙁 Oh well, it was cool to be in the Superdome. They also gave us free “crazy hair” hat things (what we are wearing in the picture) and I caught a free t-shirt. 🙂
I guess it is a little late for this post, but oh well. Its been a busy week. My favorite part of the long Labor Day weekend was:
watching the sunset over the Mississippi River. 🙂
I’m really excited to have found a great church in New Orleans. I’ve been there a couple Sundays and I already feel at home. To anyone in the New Orleans area, definitely come next Sunday to Lakeview Christian Center. 🙂
