Pink Lemonade

Picking fresh lemons from a friend’s backyard citrus trees, walking among cosmos flowers in New Orleans’ City Park with my newborn daughter in her stroller, broccoli flowers blooming in the SCAD Community Garden, zinnias from neighborhood walks around New Orleans, flowers I painted sitting at my grandmother’s kitchen table — this collection is a combination of sweet memories in a spring-y color palette.
